Living in the past

It's late.
I'm tired,
I've been at university today.
It was good, I've made friends, it's good so far.

I know I haven't posted (properly) in awhile,
And unfortunately that'll remain, at least for today.
I'm going to bed,
Just wanted to say I'm still here!!
Also that my calendar still says January.
Someone (aka, me) forgot to tell it that its actually not January any more
But it seems so happy to just live in the past
I normally would go for that too
But I like driving too much
I couldn't give that up
And also I've met new friends!
Like Rob,
I hope he likes me.
He has a really awesome pen.
And no, that isn't meant to sound bad.

Also I hope Lauren's better very soon.
And the rest of her family who are all ill.
And Stace! She wasn't feeling good today at all.

It's cold
A far cry from the bushfires that are (still? apparently) raging through the state somewhere.
The worst is over, for sure.
But now the rain has started.
In all seriousness I like it,
But Dad said that eventually we'll get flood-like rains...which could be interesting.
We'll see.
